Agricultural tyres polyester vs nylon
In what part of the band is the material used?
Below the tyre tread is the carcass. In the following.
Polyester offers better stability than nylon
'Dimensional stability' is the term used to describe how much a material changes when conditions change. Polyester is much more stable than nylon in this respect. Agricultural tires made with polyester, such as the Alliance Agristar II, are therefore more robust and "grow" less during use. When developing the Agristar II, a conscious decision was made to work with polyester, despite it being a more expensive textile. In fact, the Agristar II has no less than a D rating (65 km/h). Speed causes the tire to heat up. The polyester ensures that the tire keeps its shape. An ideal combination!
Echter kunnen nylon banden ook een geschikte bandensoort zijn voor u. Hiernaast zijn nylon tyres both tube type and tubeless available.
