Albourgh Tyres looks back with satisfaction on the successful first two years
Complete range for all applications
Albourgh firstly introduced the Across series in the first quarter of 2023. These tyres are specially designed to meet the needs of regional and international transport and are available in front axle, drive axle and trailer tyres. The Robust series followed shortly afterwards. As the name suggests; robust tyres suitable for heavy and demanding on/off applications. Towards the end of the year, the Endure, long-distance tyres for mega trailers, and the City series, bus tyres for urban transport, were also added.
During the year 2024, the existing series within the Albourgh range were completed with the addition of even more versions. This included the 265/70R19.5 and 285/70R19.5 Across T for trailers and a complete range of steering and drive axle tyres in 17.5 and 19.5 inches - with the Across S and Across D - for smaller distribution vehicles. The Robust series was also expanded with the 265/70R19.5 and 275/70R22.5 Robust G and the unique 315/70R22.5 Robust D. This made Albourgh one of the few tyre manufacturers in the world that offers a tyre for the drive axle with an on/off-pattern in size 315/70R22.5.
Finally, in June 2024 - during Tire Cologne - Albourgh introduced the Aurora series; winter tyres in sizes 315/70R22.5, 315/80R22.5, 385/55R22.5 and 385/65R22.5 for both the front and drive axle. In 2025, Albourgh will therefore offer a complete range of truck and trailer tyres in the form of more than 55 different SKUs for the most diverse applications.

Important advantages of Albourgh truck and trailer tyres
Albourgh tyres are produced in a state-of-the-art production facility with high-tech European machinery. Characteristics of these tyres are the modern European tread design with 3PMSF certification on all patterns. In addition, all front axle and trailer tyres have an increased load capacity as standard (HL – High Load). Albourgh Tyres are suitable for regrooving and the casing can also be given a second life, which is supported by the Albourgh casing guarantee.
Albourgh's trailer tyres have an A label for rolling resistance. This makes these tyres extra interesting for transporters for two reasons, especially for the wallet. Because on the one hand they have less rolling resistance, trailers are easier to tow and this saves fuel. Thanks to the A label, trailers under which these tyres are mounted fall into a better Vecto class. This provides both direct and indirect tax benefits.
With the 275/70R22.5 ALBOURGH CITY G 152/149J TL M+S 3PMSF bus tyre Albourgh is one of the first brands to combine an increased payload (152/149J) with an EV-ready symbol and an A label for noise emissions. That makes it the perfect tyre for city traffic. Albourgh bus tyres are therefore low-noise and, due to the higher load capacity and the EV-ready symbol, also suitable for buses with combustion engines and with E-motors.

Renowned companies choose Albourgh's quality
The many advantages of Albourgh truck and trailer tyres have not gone unnoticed within the international market. In 2024, approximately 109,000 Albourgh truck tyres will have been sold in no fewer than 24 different countries. Many tyre specialists have now embraced the brand and together they form an important dealer network within Europe. In addition, a number of leading OEM and transport companies have chosen Albourgh.
Wilhelm Schwarzmüller GmbH tested Albourgh
Already in 2023, the Austrian trailer manufacturer Wilhelm Schwarzmüller GmbH tested Albourgh's tyres on its rental fleet. A total of around 1,000 tyres were fitted. After the test results turned out to be very good, Schwarzmüller finally chose Albourgh and regular deliveries to three different factories of theirs in Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic started. Albourgh is now one of the so-called 'factory choice brands' at Schwarzmüller.
Heisterkamp Trailer Rental chooses Albourgh
From the beginning of 2024, Heisterkamp Trailer Rental has also chosen to transfer their entire European fleet of rental trailers to the Albourgh brand. This means that a total of around 6,500 trailers will use Albourgh tyres for replacement from 2025. The low kilometer cost price and the minimal CO2 footprint (label A) of the trailer tyres were the deciding factor. The supply and mounting of the tyres is done by 150 service providers in 10 European countries.
